Summer series

Mon Jun 1, 2009, 5:13 AM
The day started with a cold rain but that passed quickly enough to let warm sun come through for the first photo session in a new series. Yes, I'm back once again to taking a simple idea and beating it to death.

Take one secluded woodland location, add several vertical strips of gauze fabric hung from a tree, mix in a brave and flexible model and a dash of slanting morning light.

Samples coming soon.

Thanks for the watch. Very neat work!
Your gallery is beyond amazing. It's taking some serious restraint not to fave the entirety of it. I'll be able to comment properly when I'm home. :D

Hello! I didn't know you were on here as well. Thank you for the watch!
Beautiful prints, especially the Van Dyke. The tonal range is excellent! Have you tried printing a light Van Dyke over cyanotype yet? I've experimented and gotten some wonderful results from it.
Thank you for your kind words.

I haven't experimented with combining Van Dyke and cyanotype in a number of years but there is at least one sample in my gallery here:
